Dana is a small business entrepreneur with almost 25 years of Human Resources, Productivity, and Professional Organizing experience. Dana has a B.S. in Human Resources Management and minor in Psychology.  She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).

Dana brings a vast knowledge of employee training, technology, social media, and online business strategy.  She was drawn to entrepreneurship when creating her first partnership, an Art Objects business with a lifelong friend back in 2004.  Since then, this multipreneur has started three businesses:

  • Creative Advantage Consulting, a Human Resources Consulting business founded in 2004
  • Organize DIY, an online professional organizing consulting business founded in 2012
  • Master Essential Oils, founded in 2015, a website to educate others about natural and healthy benefits of using Essential Oils.

Dana has a love of learning, helping others succeed, and is an avid DIYer.  Dana brings to her clients, followers, and website visitors a balance between a creative imagination and her process driven business methods.  This combo allows her to think outside the box while making the information approachable.  She and her husband, Brett, have a daughter who is their inspiration and who helps to provide tasks for their on-going list of projects.  This organizing family enjoys helping others by providing information, project ideas, and training instruction to assist and support their visitors and clients who are trying to improve their life through organization.

Brett has almost 25 years of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Process Management experience along with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and MBA in Management.  He is an active member of several professional Engineering groups.

Brett brings to the team a vast knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Mechanical expertise and ingenuity.  He can create something functional out of his and Dana’s ideas.

Brett also is the brains behind many of the creative project ideas that we share in the tutorials section of the Organize DIY website.
